2019
Richard Agar, picked up his first win as Leeds coach a year ago tomorrow, when Rhinos defeated London Broncos 24-22 in a Magic Weekend relegation battle at Liverpool’s Anfield.
Leeds led 24-10 with 12 minute left, after tries by Liam Sutcliffe, Ash Handley, Jack Walker, Harry Newman and Richie Myler, plus two goals from Sutcliffe, but a late collapse made it a tense finish.

Hide AdDanny McGuire scored five tries, equalling Leeds’ record for a Super League game – in a 37-22 win over Bradford Bulls at the Magic Weekend in Manchester.
Carl Ablett was Leeds’ other try scorer and Kevin Sinfield kicked six goals and a one-pointer.
2002
In Leeds’ only Super League game played on this date, try scorer Ryan Sheridan was outstanding as Rhinos hit back from 18-6 down at half-time to beat hosts London Broncos 32-24.
Mark Calderwood, Marcus St Hilaire, Wayne McDonald, Ben Walker – who kicked four goals – and Tonie Carroll also crossed.

Hide AdLeeds ended the season by lifting the Premiership Trophy following a 24-2 drubbing of Bradford Northern at Fartown in Huddersfield.
Scrum-half Kevin Dick was man of the match, kicking seven goals and a drop.
Leeds’ try scorers were David Smith, Alan Smith and David Ward.
