Leeds Rhinos in focus - spotlight on prolific winger Luke Briscoe
and live on Freeview channel 276
The Featherstone-born winger began his career in Hull’s youth set-up and joined Leeds in 2011, making his debut three years later.
He had spells on loan/dual-registration with Wakefield Trinity and Hunslet and - after returning to Rhinos - moved to Featherstone Rovers in 2016.

Hide AdAfter a record-breaking stint there, he rejoined Leeds in 2018.
In the latest of our series examining Rhinos’ squad, we look at what Briscoe will contribute for the rest of this year.
Attributes: The 26-year-old is a prolific try scorer and one of the best finishers in the European game.
He has pace and agility and is also versatile, having played at centre, full-back and in the pack before establishing himself as a winger.

Hide AdDefining moment: Briscoe has yet to become a first-choice player at Leeds, but got the opportunity for an extended run in the side when his older brother Tom was injured last August.
He scored five tries in seven games in 2019 and produced his finest performance for Leeds earlier this season in a big home win against Hull KR.
Best season: Briscoe was unstoppable for his hometown club in 2018, touching down 33 times in 24 appearances.
That included a 17-game try-scoring run, equalling the northern hemisphere record set by Eric Harris, of Leeds, in the 1930s.

Hide AdConcerns: Swapping between clubs and competitions has been a challenge.
He has been caught out positionally at times and is still learning about top-flight rugby, but has made good progress over the past 12 months.
Value: Ash Handley and Tom Briscoe are Rhinos’ first-choice wingers, but Briscoe did well during the five-game winning run which took Leeds top of the Super League table and deservedly kept his spot against Huddersfield earlier this month, despite Tom Briscoe being available after injury.
His spectacular touchdown in the game showed what he is capable of.
