Victory at Loftus Road will turn up the heat on promotion rivals Ipswich Town, who must wait until tomorrow to play Hull City and potentially reduce the arrears between themselves and current top two Leicester City and Leeds.

Lose or draw in West London and United will have left the door open for Kieran McKenna’s side to walk through and reclaim a spot in the automatic promotion places.

FT: QPR 4-0 Leeds United

Second-best from start to finish.

90’ Six added minutes

89' Gelhardt shoots over the top from 20 yards. Away end has half-emptied and you can't blame them. Leeds haven't served up anything close to a statement performance tonight.

86' Field powers a header beyond Meslier from close range. 'Keeper gets a hand to it but not strong enough.

Gruev off; Shackleton on, meanwhile. Kamara on for Gnonto, too.

84' Gnonto hits a low shot straight at Begovic. Lacking power.

81’

OFF: Clarke-Salter, Colback

ON: Fox, Hayden

79' Piroe blasts a 30-yard free-kick into the stand behind the goal.

78' Joe Gelhardt and Jaidon Anthony come on for Leeds in place of Summerville and Georginio.

Goal. QPR. 3-0. Dykes.

73' Near post header from a corner. Runs off Georginio and gets in front of Joseph to nod between Meslier's legs.

66' Joseph straight into the action. Summerville into Firpo on the overlap. He crosses low and the Spanish forward gets a toe on the ball but Begovic is there to save at close quarters. Goal kick, says the referee, incorrectly.
