Move to League Two a possibility for Leeds United youngster as loan spell is cut short
The winger has spent the first half of the season with the League One strugglers, who lost manager Richie Wellens in November when he joined Salford City and replaced him with former Whites hero John Sheridan.
Stevens has started two of Sheridan's 11 games in charge at Swindon and the loan stint is to be ended prematurely in what the YEP understands is a mutually agreed move.

Hide AdWhile Wellens and Salford City are thought to have been keeping tabs on Stevens, Bradford appeared on the scene this morning and Stevens could now join his fellow Thorp Arch graduate Bryce Hosannah at Valley Parade.
Hosannah moved to the Bantams on loan in September and, before a hamstring injury took him out of action, was enjoying his experience.
He told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "To be playing, to have something riding on every game we play is exactly what I was looking for when I made the decision to come here.
“It’s been a good experience, I’ve been enjoying it. Playing in the FA Cup, on TV, it’s all been good so far. I knew it was going to be different and more intense, which I have found with the scheduling, but I was just looking forward to the challenge.
“It’s obviously more physical, that’s the main difference I’ve noticed."
