A Leeds road has closed for potentially five weeks while emergency repairs are made to a collapsed sewer.

Part of Weetwood Lane, between Oxley Hall and Weetwood Court, has shut today according to travel company Metro.

Leeds City Council's road works webpage has says "emergency" repairs need to be carried out, but it is not known when the sewer collapsed.

The stretch of road will be shut at all hours.

First Bus's 28 service will be diverted via Otley Road, Lawnswood Roundabout and the Ring Road.
