Man rescued after jumping into River Aire at Granary Wharf in Leeds city centre
and live on Freeview channel 276
Emergency services were called to Victoria Bridge on Neville Street at 5.44pm over concern for the man's safety.
He was seen jumping into the water and not resurfacing.
Fire crews searched the water and rescued the man.
He was unconscious but emergency services were able to recover his breathing.
The man, aged in 50s, was taken to hospital.

Hide AdThe West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service log said: "One person observed jumping into the water and not resurfacing.
"Two water rescue personnel searched the water.
"Casualty aged approx. 50 unconscious, pulse detected, breathing, recovered from the water by fire crews.
"Passed to the Yorkshire Ambilance HART team who treated him on scene and transferred to hospital
"Crews attended from Leeds and Hunslet."
Neville Street was closed for a short time while emergency services attended.
