Leeds thug stamped on pensioner during 'vigilante' doorstep gang attack and assaulted his girlfriend while high on cocaine

Kyle Fletcher was jailed for two years after a court heard how he also subjected his partner to a degrading drink and drug-fuelled attack.
Leeds Crown Court heard Fletcher knocked on the victim's door at his home in Leeds on October 24 last year.

Hide AdThe elderly man answered the door and Fletcher asked him if he needed help with anything.
The victim said "no", closed the door and Fletcher left the area.
He then returned later that day with two other men.
The 28-year-old punched the pensioner in the face when the victim opened the door.
The defendant dragged him outside and Fletcher and the other men began kicking him.

Hide AdNicoleta Alistari, prosecuting, said the victim was kicked or stamped on around 12 times.
The attack ended when the victim's wife came outside and told them stop.
The pensioner was left covered in blood and had pain to his ribs after the assault.
Fletcher was arrested and released on bail but attacked his partner at their home on November 20.

Hide AdHe was drunk and had been taking cocaine when he began punching the woman as she screamed at him to stop.
Fletcher also humiliated the woman by pouring a can of lager over her head.
Fletcher, of Marston Mount, Lincoln Green, pleaded guilty to common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The offences also put him in breach of a community order which had been imposed for a previous offence of violence against the same woman.

Hide AdThe woman provided a victim statement to the court describing how she was scared of Fletcher as he would become violent when he had been drinking.
Christopher Moran, mitigating, said Fletcher pleaded guilty to the offences at an early stage.
Mr Moran said his client had long-standing issues with drink and drugs.
Sentencing, Judge Geoffrey Marson QC said: "It was a vigilante attack, making allegations he had raped somebody.

Hide Ad"It does not need me to tell you, particularly against your background of offending that it's as bad a case of (common) assault as it is possible to imagine.
"If you do not stop abusing alcohol and drugs you are going to cause somebody some serious harm indeed."
