Blaze at block of flats in Harrogate after flames spread to curtains
Firefighters were called to a blaze at a block of flats in Harrogate.
The fire, at the residential flats in Cornwall Road, happened at about 6pm yesterday.
It started on a carpet inside the flats, but spread to curtains and a windowsill, a spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation.
