Annual Meanwood Festival is set to be a crowd-puller
Over 40 events are already pencilled in for the 10-day gala, which runs from Saturday, May 20 through to the May 29 bank holiday.
Several days of events including music, art, literature, heritage, drama, food and drink will conclude with the annual Festival fun day on bank holiday Monday.

The community festival, now in its third year, is organised by the Meanwood Valley Partnership.
Co-organiser Chris Swales previously said he was inspired to help start the event as Meanwood has a tendency to get overlooked in favour of other destinations such as Headingley and Chapel Allerton.
