Leeds hospitals have recorded six further deaths of patients who had tested positive for Covid-19, according to the latest daily statistics.

Figures released by NHS England show 509 deaths were recorded in the country's hospitals in the 24 hours to 4pm on Monday (February 8), including six in Leeds.

The deaths took place between December 27 2020 and February 8 2021, with the majority being on or after February 4.
