* Originally the club was affiliated to the Alwoodley Community Association but now offer membership to those from outside the area and therefore 'broke away' from the Community Association some time ago.
* The Club is currently actively involved in mashalling on various motor sport events, mainly held in Yorkshire. We also run an event (Autotest) that qualifies for two national championships and two regional championships. This year the UK's leading autotesters will converge on the event to also compete in an inter-regional event which is held annually in a different region so we feel very honoured to run the event this year.
