Morrisons cuts price of favourites as it prepares to reopen 320 cafes
The Bradford-based grocer said it will protect customers with the installation of 11,000 free-standing perspex screens so customers can eat in neighbouring booths safely.
It will now employ hosts in every cafe to guide customers to tables that will either be protected by the screens or are distant from other customers.

Prices of favourites such as fish & chips will be reduced to encourage customers to visit the newly-opened Morrisons cafes. A portion of fish & chips will be reduced from £5.60 to £4.95.
Morrisons’ said its Big Breakfast will now include a free cup of Yorkshire Tea and will cost the same as before – £4.75.
For the first time, the cafes will be selling a takeaway bacon or sausage sandwich and a hot drink deal for £1.95.

Ali Lyons, head of cafe at Morrisons, said: “We intend to play our full part in feeding the nation and so our cafes will be safe and better value-for-money at this challenging time for customers.
“We look forward to serving them again from this Saturday.”
Prior to the cafes reopening, Morrisons launched a nationwide takeaway service last month in all of its customer cafes.
Available seven days a week, customers can order from one telephone number, 0330 808 9733, which directs customers to their local store where they can collect their order.
The service offers a fish & chips meal for two and afternoon tea for two for £10.
Customers can also order food via the Deliveroo delivery service in 100 locations.
