The Whites stand an excellent chance of securing a top-half finish in their first Premier League campaign in 16 years, and could even secure Europa League qualification should they maintain their fine run of form over the course of their remaining six matches of the season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said of the game: "Well, inside the stadium there won't be any fans unfortunately. It's important we focus on our game," Solskjaer said during his pre-match press conference.
"You know fans between our clubs have always had a rivalry and it has to be a healthy rivalry. That's important as well, in a period like this, that we don't want to incite or brew anything up. We just play football.
"It's important that we've listened to the fans [on the European Super League] and I'm so, so happy that the fans have been heard, and let's go onto the game of football now."
The Red Devils boss also revealed that Marcus Rashford hasn't trained ahead of the Whites: "Marcus hasn’t trained but I hope that he will join us tomorrow.
“Apart from that everyone – of course Anthony is injured still - has had a couple of days of recovery and a week of preparation and training.
“You need that against Leeds. They make you go to the edge physically and mentally. They have a unique style of play and it’s a game we’re looking forward to.”
Beyond this weekend, though, attention has swiftly turned to the summer transfer window and the rumour mill continues to whir away in the background.
